tue-thur: FIBUA field camp and L/F.

felt off for L/F. a lot of things went wrong.

day shoot: couldn't pull out the SPG-93 safety pin. dunno if i hit the target. at a mere 1-2m? bleah.

nite shoot: a little problem with the SPG-93 again. don't think i hit the target cos my LAD was pointing at the cyalume stick illuminating the target but it didn't splatter. really off.

Lord.. You are always with me.. never leave me nor forsake me..

ahhhhhh... -stretches fingers-

it's been sometime since the last update came. 8 days? hahahaha... fingers got lots of blisters and abrasions from FIBUA. feet feel a little funny after coastal navex cos got wet again and travelled in soggy boots. assault boat training sucks! which idiot invented it.. confirm weapon rusty before landing and troops get wet from choppy seas.. wet troops are demoralised troops... haha... they should have some sort of windscreen shield to protect troops... bleah.

comms parade selection today... resulting in a break in my FIBUA training schedule. man.. was it fun or what? but due to this selection thingy couldn't get to play with paintball... argh! bleah. sounded really fun when i heard we were going to play paintball... but now i can't realise it!

even better.. night training got cancelled so the 11 of us shortlisted for the selection didn't even need to go back. actually we were meant to but the tonner left already... while we were slacking away.. haha... well.. blessed!

i hate it when people doubt my integrity.

ahhh... in the comfort of the aircon in the mess again. heh. the wing got a nights out and due to book in at 2130h. didn't go again... yet another measly 2½ hrs! the 2-day fofo package got condensed into 1 day. praise Jesus! really tiring but jsut kept going on because Jesus put strength into my legs... hallelujah!

hey brother i know how you feel.. i was almost there. take care yeah? i'm sure things will work out fine for you! Jesus loves you!

ahhh... the eve of CNY! heh heh... had reunion dinner with dearie's family yesterday at parkway thai. it was good! haha... the ice kachang with ice cream was more like ice cream chendol though. nonetheless it was good!

got reunion lunch and possibly dinner later. dad's leaving tmr for holiday. heh. THE HOUSE IS ALL MINE! BWAHAHAHAHA!! oops. lol.

went for 2nd. queued up for church cd today. really great cd... filled exceedingly abundantly and overflowing with so much grace and love of God... my Daddy in Heaven loves me! pastor preached on the importance of faith and grace working together and also reiterated the fact that it is normal for us to face persecution as it is written in the Bible that those who preach grace shall be persecuted by those who are of the flesh. bleah. cast you demons away in Jesus' mighty name!

went home early. dinner with dad. same bak kut teh. apaprently the lady ran out of "bak" in the bak kut teh and made up for the lack with an abundance of pork knuckle. lol. delicious. had ice kachang. really cheap at 80 cents... although the ingredients were somewhat lacking. heh. 3 curry puffs, a mandarin orange and a can of heineken complete my dinner! heh.

enjoyed today's shopping with dearie... really blessed...

home! finally. been a physically gruelling week but the grace and strength of God was exceedingly abundantly found in all that i did... as usual! God is always so faithful even when i'm faithless...

returned to camp on monday afternoon. had ICCT. did revision on breakfalls. quite relaxing. the instructors are getting really nicer towards us. did sword drill practice. 1st timer. screwed up and scolded quite badly by WSM. heh. it's ok... the Lord teaches me in all things!!

tuesday was a day full of lectures ending with a SEOC full run down as part of revision. quite boring initially and ran approx. 27m20s for SEOC. quite terrible. been physically gruelling especially since the 1-week off-in-lieu for lancer. heh. but there's never an excuse because my Jesus is greater than all these! but well, according to my faith.. lol. need to go ICU like what pastor says... listen to more sermon tapes. did commander's parade rehearsal for parade commander. scolded quite badly by SSM. lol. the Lord teaches me in all things!!

wednesday was commander's parade. made a major mistake. after informing commander that the parade was formed up and ready for inspection, he just said ok and didn't tell me which wing he wanted to inspect. so i made the mistake of simply proceeding with the parade instead of asking a certain wing to diam. heh. upon being scolded by SSM i realised my mistake and proceeded with the correct sequence of the parade. not too good. the junior wings need to build up on parade endurance. 2 cadets fainted.

thursday was spent doing final touching up on area cleaning and also learning about sea profiling and coastal navigational skills. didn't feel too well. had diarrhoea. really felt terrible. but thank God for miraculous healing. after the 3rd time i started praying in tongues and i was instantly healed. praise Jesus! the whole week at night the wing's been doing area cleaning while i've been busy keeping myself up to date with the school admin matters and meeting with chris. heh. in other words slacking away!!

today was commander's barracks inspection. went really well. commander's really pleased with our 98.7% pass rate for JCC. he didn't find anything wrong with our bunks. the inspection went well with so much favour from God. other wings got punished quite badly as he handed out extras like nobody's business. there was SEOC test today! weather didn't really look too good and CAT1 looked imminent. but praise be to Jesus the weather held on in its cool state creating a fantastic atmosphere to run SEOC in. did 24m12s. not gonna touch it again! haha... had CNY celebration at night. not bad at all. pretty well organised and entertaining. had sch appointment holders' meeting with all the other CWCs and C2ICs. went well. booked out! and now i'm home. lol.
