it has been a blessed 2-and-a-half weeks on course. thank You Daddy for surrounding me with Your beloveds. there're so many believers in my syndicate! thank You Daddy for brother l*ster who blesses me with a ride home daily!
mum went back today. spoke to her.
today pastor preached a powerful message for BS. it was a continuation on the series of the wisdom of God.
today's daily devotional is fantastic. it's amazing. thank You Daddy. i really believe that the daily devotional is written
just for me because
YOU SO LOVED ME. thank You Daddy for speaking to me thru Your spoken and written Word.
i pray the prayer of Solomon in closing.
Lord, give to me a spirit of wisdom and revelation. lead me in love, with discernment and revelationary knowledge. Amen.

yesterday's party was an unqualified success. thank You Daddy for all the people who helped me out - particularly dearie and her parents, sister bao and edwin for the initial prep. thank You Daddy for everyone who helped out in the clearing and packing up of the place - especially brother YS who had to burst the close-to-100 balloons in my car to prevent noise pollution in the dead of night. lol.
it was an insight into what the church tagline (Greatly Blessed, Highly Favoured, Deeply Loved) meant. greatly blessed because i see all the blessings in the form of God's beloveds helping me so much and allowing me to enjoy this occasion - easy easy, light light style. highly favoured because somehow, being in the right place and right time allowed God's undeserved, unmerited favour to overwhelm me like a flood and causing the party to be such a brilliant success. and of course, deeply loved by my dear sisters and brothers in Christ. it was such an intense encounter with Abba Father yesterday, of His love for me.
i finally told my dad about my relationship with God. when he arrived, i told him that i'd invited solely church friends. there was no reaction from him. eventually, over dinner, he asked me whether i was a christian, to which i said yes and added that it had already been 4 years. he was like, i told you not to do so because of my mum and all. but, hey, God defends me. he took it pretty well. thank You Daddy i no longer have to keep this 'open' secret anymore.
the spoils of e day:
oakley shades vouchers...
a
seiko watch...
a
sony hi-fi set...
a lighted ornament with a cross in the centre...
...and 1.15k in cash!
and above it all, the divine, Godly relationships maintained and sustained by my Daddy. the love of God shed abroad in the hearts of
all, knowing and believing how much Jesus loves me.
oh, and before i sign off, i'll mention that i was thrown into the pool by a horde of NS guys. a fine struggle, but they insisted on the water baptism. heh. in the end i brought lion*l and joa*h with me. and to brother edw*n i leave this quote: if you don't enter the water,
we'll bring the water to you. cheers. :)

the daily devotional has been truly amazingly wonderful. it can be found here:
http://www.newcreation.org.sg/resources/daliydevotion/dailydevo.aspthe logistics, administration and coordinating efforts of the event to come on saturday are far from finished. thank You Lord for the multiplied time and accelerated answers. i'm really thankful that God has blessed me so tremendously and richly with Godly friendships sustained by Abba. it is so real... and the most practical way to go about it is thanksgiving.
thank You Lord for dearie, who practically planned the entire programme, did all the market research for potential caterers, potential cake bakeries, the theme and not to forget, the trusty budget spreadsheet.
thank You Lord for my parents - my dad who so willingly agreed to sponsor the buffet and my mum for blessing me so richly financially.
thank You Lord for dearie's parents - her dad for helping me book the function room and her mum for bargaining the greatest buffet deal of the millenium.
thank You Lord for sister bao, who so eagerly volunteered to come up with the decor from the beginning to the end!
thank You Lord for sister AW, who so kindly agreed to help me get the cake from awfully chocolate after her lectures on sat.
these are the Godly relationships that no amount of money is able to purchase. these are the relationships that God maintains and sustains. these are the blessed people of Abba Daddy. real love, real people, real God.
thank You Lord for blessing me with so much and more! and yes, for anyone i missed out, really, a HUGE thank you! your contributions are forever etched in my heart!
oh yes, don't forget to come in
pink!!!

the admin and organisational learning package concluded today. so many charts, acronyms and diagrams were imparted. through it all, i see what pastor has always been preaching: that psychology, motivation, inspiration and self-help are all watered-down versions of the original a.k.a. The Holy Bible.
today was really interesting. i saw a schoolgirl sitting down in a sprawled position on the road divider along TK road near ECP. i was crossing the road at that moment and i thought something was really wrong so i edged towards her and asked if she was alright. her reply was really hilarious - she had a leg cramp! ahh well... so anyway, she said she was fine and turned down my offer to help.
staying in for the next two days. yawn. sure beats travelling daily. actually, favourable traffic conditions mean i can get to dearie's place in under half an hour with a free ride. thank You Lord! this year of
acceleration shall see every aspect, including traffic to favour me! all because You love me :)
saturday's coming! woohoo!

2 days of the course. actually, it's pre-course. i'm learning motivational stuff - you know, those charts, lists and tools to handle interpersonal relationships, do counselling, mentoring, coaching and things like that. IQ, EQ and AQ and using visual imagery to bring across simple yet powerful images across to the masses in speeches.
tiring.
thank You Lord for the strength to
stay awake. lol.
God really wants to constantly remind me of His grace. yes, all 63 of us in the course were divided into 5 syndicates numbered from 1 to 5 and yes, no prizes for guessing which one i'm in.
syndicate 5.
i'll take this opportunity to thank some people for helping me make my birthday party a reality.
to my dearie, thanks for making most of the planning come to pass - the sourcing of venue, food and not to forget, the excellent budget spreadsheet. lol.and to her parents, for helping me source and bargain for a good caterer and also the use of the condo poolside and function room to hold the party.really can't wait!

going for course tomorrow!
spent much of the night packing away. i really need a writing pad, a file and a
new pencil box. shall get them over the weekend! heh. finally got down to redoing my whiteboard and it now features a countdown! no prizes for guessing countdown to what...
65 days to ORD!went for scholarship interview in school. it was really an eye opener. instead of the usual 1-to-1s, there were 10 of us and 2 profs. we were divided into 2 teams of 5 and had to debate this motion:
There is too much choice in tertiary education opportunities in Singapore today.what was really funny was that in my team, i had 2 other ex-classmates, bry*nt and ah pung! hahaha... it was really quite funny. B hasn't changed - he just kept spewing rubbish, albeit seemingly intelligent rubbish. my team got bundled into a SR nearby the meeting room and we discussed our debate points. we were not told whether we were the pro or opposition until 15 min before the commencement of the debate. we were all so carried away that, when it was made known to us that we were in favour of the motion, we actually only had one valid point. bleah. the 2 profs were shuttling between the 2 different locations where the teams were to observe.
and the debate went on with some energy and i really couldn't help but be amused that one of the opposition ended up presenting points that
agreed with us! i was really so tempted to burst out 'Thanks for agreeing with us!' but the prof had earlier said he wanted to hear from the rest. so, well... hahahaha...
thank You Lord for favour that surrounds me as like a shield. thank You Lord for multiplied wisdom in my life. thank You Lord for the scholarship. i claim it by faith! and what
You have given me,
no one can take away! in Jesus most precious and most mighty name, Amen.
