busy, busy, busy.
looked forward to the sento*a outing.
really.combat shoot tmr. the last of my 2 yrs and 2 mths in the army.
staying in = save $$
where else can you find an organisation that provides free food and lodging?
mother's 2nd sister's husband fell asleep. it's really a testimony of God's goodness. on the way to the wake upon hearing the news, i was wondering whether he was saved. and the widow said 3 days before his passing on, he dreamt that Jesus came to him and called him to come home -
twice. when he passed on, he looked much younger than he was in the past 2 years when he was undergoing chemo. how cool is that?

5:36 PM
friday - blessed.
saturday - blessed.
sunday - BLESSED.
and that rounds up the week in an understatement.
everything seems to be falling into place, in what the world terms as "coincidence". but my belief is that being the disciple whom Jesus loves, He makes all things fall into place
just for me. :) i speak forth a cab and it comes, and what makes it even more special is it happens within the time frame that i want! like, within a minute or immediately! and that's two out of two times i hailed a cab! thank God for such favour... made possible by the blood of Jesus shed for me at the Cross..
the zeroing shoot was nothing short of miraculous - the people in the morning session ended late and kept telling us it was impossible for us to complete before night fall when it'd be impossible to continue the shoot. but guess what?
if it's a miracle i need, a miracle i will get. and a miracle i had - we completed the shoot by six - three and a half hours after we started. my Jesus multiplies time and time more abundantly because He loves me!
the week has been so blessed that i've lost count of the blessings that have been happening all around me. i've been meaning to blog them all in some day, but apparently there's so much to thank God for! praise Jesus... the power of the tongue and the seventh weapon of the heavenly armour - praying in the Spirit. i don't know how it helps and i really don't care. that may sound apathetic but hey, all i know is that i'm blessed and i know that my blessings come from God above. just like the blind man who was healed and made whole by Jesus by washing at the pool of Siloam, he told the Pharisees that he didn't care whether Jesus was a sinner (that's a
lie) or not. all he knew was that previously, he could not see, and now he could see. and he
gave thanks. :)
pastor m*rk preached today. it was fantastic! i love his anointed teaching. really a man who has had a deep revelation of God's love for him and one who has experienced God's love for him so tangibly in every area of his life. shall buy the sermon cd!

12:29 AM
thank God for the day He has made. it was simply blessed beyond words and filled with His goodness. here's something interesting i noted. praying in the Spirit (subconsciously) when i just feel like it has unveiled more of God's goodness in my life. this week i've already experienced a ton of miracles and blessings that can only come from my dearest Daddy!
first up was the impeccable timing that i reached camp before the train arrived and the gates closed to traffic.
second was the exceedingly abundant favour that God gave to me (boundless grace) during the inspection portion of the parade. i got off with no punishment! truly highly favoured!
third. today boss came around and said that big boss implicitly favours the company. i'm not surprised. heh heh. what pastor says is true! people around shall just see the light of us believers as the world gets darker and darker... there's just so much favour!
and last but certainly not the least, i'm really touched at how real God really is. today there was cg as usual but there was supposed to be a briefing by big boss at 1800 hrs. i spent the morning thinking of excuses to cook up to smoke out of the briefing so i could go for cg. but guess what? God really takes care of me! He cancelled the briefing for me! and i really believe He did it just for me - simply because i am
THE disciple whom Jesus loves! :)
fellowship and cg were really, really so blessed. thank God for such great brothers and sisters...
thank God for
ferris, who has been such a great blessing in my life, sharing with me so much on the word and blessing me with his wonderful testimonies of God's goodness. and thank you bro, for driving me home so many times. :)
thank God for
kevin, who has been around for so long and bringing me back to God
twice. thanks bro, for driving me home too...
thank God for
joshua, who has been a great brother in Christ and God put us in the same unit! hahaha...
thank God for
adrian, who encourages me to alter the fuel pump meter (heh heh.) and put pirated stuff in some hidden place. thanks brother, you've truly been a great blessing in my life.
thank God for
jackson, who is strong in the word of righteousness and builds my faith by confessing righteousness
all the time. yes brother, we
ARE the righteousness of God in Christ! and no mistake we make can ever change that fact...
thank God for
nat, beloved sister whom i met in a fire escape during ben gen. hahahaha... always so joyous (and that's her middle name) and bringing much joy to those around her. thanks sister.. you change surroundings with joy that truly comes from Abba...
thank God for
aiwei, bursting with testimonies aplenty! and sharing so much lame jokes. hahahaha.. thanks sister.. be a safe driver ya.. thanks for the ride today.. hahahaha...
thank God for
karen, who led such powerful worship today. i just felt God's love pouring out on me non stop... thanks sister for the edification and also the words of wisdom that came from God that you shared today during cg...
thank God for
liya, who is one blessed woman of God and cracks lame jokes with me. please don't be too violent sister.. hahahaa..
thank God for
baoyan, who is a living testimony of God's goodness, favour and wisdom! always so humble and eager to share about God's goodness... thanks sister... truly blessed by you and your testimonies... and bringing about revelations and realisations that we have the same Abba Father who can bless me the same way too! :)
thank God for
sien hwa, who is such a cool and composed leader and shares ever so readily about the reality of God and His great love for me, and making me conscious that
i am the disciple whom Jesus loves.
thank God for all these heavenly relationships bound together in Jesus name!
wow.. that's a lot of blessings! i'm feeling rich! :D

12:08 AM
blessed day.
went to camp early in the morning and my dad called me after dropping me that i'd missed the closing of the gates that facilitated railway train movement. praise Jesus! my Daddy makes all things to clockwork perfection... and for me!
ME! the disciple whom Jesus loves...
and to add to that, during CO parade, big boss called for all junior officers to step forward - and the natural reaction?all of us panicked! hahahaha. no one really took the initiative to step forward to form up a line in front of big boss but in the end, somehow, at the same moment, we all did! and here's a testimony! big boss gave the guy near me 3 extras for wearing boots in terrible condition. at that point in time, all that was going thru my head was "there's more than enough grace for today!" and praise Jesus, big boss just walked past me and didn't say a single word! now, my boots were in a more terrible state than the other guy - even the other junior officers said so! and my reply? i told them i'm favoured. truly, by the one true God, my Heavenly Father, my Jesus.
it's the power of Jesus' finished work on the Cross and the unleashing of the gift of righteousness - the speaking in tongues, i.e. giving thanks well. and as these little snippets of favour and grace are revealed in my life, i'm going to do exactly what pastor mark said to do - sniff and appreciate the flowers on the journey by giving thanks instead of pressing on towards the goal relentlessly and not stopping to appreciate what is before me! thank You Daddy... i want wisdom and favour everyday... a double portion! everything! in Jesus name, Amen. :)
met up with sisters k*m, es*her, char and brother duns*an. talked lots of crap but totally enjoyed myself. it's been a long time since i last met all of them and thank God for sisters and a brother like them! truly great blessings in my life.
met dearie after that. i can't wait to see her again.

10:45 PM
saw dearie on monday night. actually, i saw the back of my eyelids more... only to wake up and find that i've missed the bloopers and unseen scenes of ANTM! bleah.
today there was another side of me revealed to the company - my ugly crazy (but not YET berserk!) side. i just couldn't stomach the fact that they were not listening to instructions and not putting their heart to matters (and that's twice today!) and so i lashed out with a small dose of punishment... ok, it's small relative to what i used to get in my cadet days. someone told me that it wasn't very nice to do it so publicly in the centre of the building but with almost the entire camp empty, who's to really care? the only spectators were actually from a branch and they were the specs and officers... but perhaps there's some wisdom in that. -shrug-
dear Daddy, remind my beloved sister of Your great love for her and that You will never leave her nor forsake her. she's greatly blessed and highly favoured, in fact, supernaturally favoured because You care for her. You said not to let her heart be neither troubled nor afraid and to cast all her cares upon You because, truly, You care for her... and Daddy, remind her that Your perfect love casts out all fear - and there IS now no condemnation for her who is in Christ Jesus. thank You Daddy.. keep her safe..

4:58 PM
rainy day! nonetheless blessed. really welcome the rain... everytime it rains i'm once again reminded of the showers of blessings from my Daddy...
watched 40 yr old virgin. i must say it was pretty good though extremely crude and makes a mockery of sex. thank God that the main character actually stuck to his beliefs and did not succumb to peer pressure! i don't subscribe (and don't think i ever will) to the belief that one should gain sexual experience in order to
not disappoint during consummation in marriage. these things should be God-led and not gained by self-effort. total b.s. there is, however, no condemnation for those who have chosen the alternate path (of engaging in premarital sex). i only feel for them - they've given away the greatest gift they can possibly give to their future spouses.
friday bs was fantastic. i love going to church and i love hearing the word of God. it brings life and life more abundantly; life that flows thru me and rejuvenates me like nothing else ever can. pastor talked about several things, mainly about how to see God's will, heart and attitude towards us thru Jesus. you see, Jesus is God in living flesh, God in Man form. whatever Jesus did, i.e. healing the sick and infinitely multiplying supply are pictures of what God wants to do in our lives. God wants to heal me and make me
whole! to be healed is good, but to be whole is even better! to be whole means
never to be in need of healing. it's perfect health! pastor also debunked the (il)-logical conclusion of those who criticise our teachings fiercely that knowing Jesus has cleansed us of all our past, present and future sins are free to sin
even more. now, those who know that they
have been forgiven much, love
Him much. who wants to go out and carry on sinning? it just doesn't make sense, does it? i'm not saying we won't fall into sin, it's just involuntary. pastor also talked about having a dove-like, goat-like and bullock-like revelation of Jesus. these three animals symbolised the wealth of the people who were making burnt offerings to the Lord in the olden times during the Levitical priesthood. today, it's a picture of how much revelation of Jesus we actually embrace and believe. a bullock-like (HUGE!) revelation of Jesus Christ and His finished work saw many miracles happening to those who believed, as shown in Mark 5:41-6:6. and finally, pastor reinforced how to be closer to Abba - to practise the love that God has shown and given us on an individual level - the disciple whom Jesus loves.
saturday was spent in camp doing duty. really good. finally settled down to read the book of esther. and yes, now i understand why 13 is the number of the turnaround. to summarise, queen esther found so much favour with the king then that she managed to overturn the evil plans of some stupid servant of the king to eliminate the Jews. on the 13th of the 12th month, the Jews turned on their enemies instead of the other way around, killing all of them. and that's how 13 became known as the number of the turn around.
today's service was totally blessed. it was about the wisdom of God. pastor showed how, of all things, solomon asked for wisdom. and God was so pleased with his request that above the wisdom that solomon asked for, God also gave solomon riches and honour! to date, solomon is the richest man of earth! not even the richest man of earth today can come close... and the best part? that very God is the same yesterday, today and forever! and He is
MY God. and He will prosper me in the same way and above that, i have length of days (which solomon didn't have because he wasn't righteous) because my Jesus died for me so that today i am the righteousness of God in Christ! this righteousness gives me length of days and renews my youth! truly, the benjamin generation, the generation of grace...
dearie's dad's birthday lunch today. really blessed and good food. heh.

6:09 PM
it's been a week since the last post. heh. really MIA. no no, actually i was enjoying the high life with my dear Daddy God and so had no rantings to post. He is so good in my life and He loves me! thank God for such a loving Daddy... one whose unconditional love was bought by the precious blood of His Son Jesus and one whose blessings know no boundaries.
learning to thank God for what i have is truly amazing - there's just so much to thank God for! i've been trying to make a mental list of everything but there's just so much... all the relationships, acts of favour, grace, mercy and blessings in every area of my life! now if i were to post everything i could thank God for here, i'd never be able to publish this post.
hahaha... well anyway. am at dearie's place now. the week's been really great just soaking in the word a minimum of 3x a week! oh.. received my ippt and marksman monetary awards too! hahaha... my tithe is late! help!
on a side note, everybody's back from the forsaken place they call br*nei. good to see my guys again, and bad that work is going to start soon again.. bleah.

6:58 PM
sis is flying off tomorrow.. and hence a last-minute dinner with my family later..
today pastor m*rk preached and it was largely his personal testimony. it was fantastic to say the least, and is such a great encouragement to me! there's so much of God's glory shining out if this great man of God and he's really powerful! must get the sermon cd..
his testimony really showed the goodness and the immense love of God. to say that God's love is immense is really an understatement - it simply cannot be described! God is love and from 1 John 4:18
(Perfect love casts out all fear), it can be interpreted that the perfect, unconditional love that God gives ME casts out all fear! and God is perfect, making
perfect love a double positive! really drilling in the point on His love... and the best part of pastor's testimony? it can happen to me too! praise Jesus.. time to start giving thanks!
thank You Daddy.. there's so much to thank You for.. everything in my life is really by Your grace.. and now in my army days i see so, so, so much of Your grace, favour and mercy in my life! those dark, oppressed days as a cadet where Your light shone through and brought much-needed light into my life :) ooooh there's just so much to thank You for!
+
+ +1:00 AM
ahh. finally. i've set down to blog. somehow the "sign in" button on blogger doesn't show up on the computers in camp. hmmm. must be another twisted, demented ploy by the powers that be to thwart freedom of expression in camp areas. hahaha.
on wednesday i had the opportunity to attend my first ever court martial. it's a long story but to cut it short i was there as the defending officer of a serviceman. anyway, i was more interested in the subsequent JW case. this group of people believe in a peaceful world where there is no war (quoting from Isaiah 2:4). my personal belief is, in the context of that chapter, it talks about the world
after the second coming of Jesus Christ, which hasn't occurred yet. therefore, the interpretation of that verse is warped and quoted out of context.
thurs bs was fantastic. it was a really powerful message with this underlying message revolving around this verse - speak with your mouth and believe in your heart and live a victorious life. the power of the tongue, as written in proverbs, is the difference between life and death. using the tongue to proclaim and to confess (not my sins but of the inheritance that i have) is the greatest act/work that i can ever do. this is in line with what God did when He created everything - He spoke, and also in line with what Jesus did when He performed miracles - He spoke. and that's really fantastic and heartening to know. i am above all principalities and powers and whatever warped crap there is in this world because i am a king and a priest! i am of a royal priesthood! and here's the clincher:
where the word of a king is, there is power and also
the word of a priest shall settle every controversy. that means whatever rubbish the devil tries to bring against me, all it takes is a word from me to settle everything!
sat campus was more in depth into the part of believing in my heart. what to believe? it is, of course, the belief that Christ in me is so glorious, so glorious in my heart that if God takes a torch and comes and shines it on my heart, it'll be
"like switching on the torchlight in the midday sun". totally glorious! knowing that the blood of Jesus has brought me so close to God and changing this revelation into a strong belief in my heart has to come sooner rather than later! for it is this belief that fuels what i speak. it is not christian activities (i.e. going for bs, cg and service) or holy living that brings me closer to God. it is the blood of Jesus, and in itself, that is irreversible and can never change. i am forever close to God because i am His son. the son of the one and only God, Emmanuel (
God is with us). Amen.
