i seem to start every entry with a "finally, an update".
so i shall try something different today. hahaha. it's really been a loooooong while.
been thinking of quite a few things.
the most amazing of all was how God was actually preparing me for the Sunday sermon right after the last blog entry. pastor preached on hope and
against hope, believe in hope. thank You Lord!
the most irritating was the news that i may be pulled out of course. at first i wondered why, and the devil was freely throwing condemnation into my path.
hold fast to the Word of God and cling on to His righteousness that i possess. entertain NOT the condemnation! for the Lord my God is my El-Shaddai, my peace and all that i ever need. my righteousness comes from God, from the finished work of Christ. it is not from Man. my approval comes from God. Man's approval is poor. it is worthless! thank You Lord.in any case, i wouldn't mind not going either. i won't have to go back to camp (as my superior told me), i can celebrate my 21st outside and i can start serving in the house of God. Daddy, open doors! no need to stay in either!
going for the course would be ok too. it'd be great knowledge.
either way, i don't know what to choose. ultimately, all things work together for
good. Jesus is my security. Jesus is my hope. Daddy, into Your hands, i commit this issue.
yesterday's sermon was fantastic. pastor preached on learning to wait. grace may be slow, but the results are certain. SURELY! they shall
all come to pass!
trust >> believe >> wait >> perseverance >> character >>
HOPEand hope does
not disappoint. and that, summarises yesterdays sermon. awesome.

crazy olympics today! it was held in a hidden part of the really western part of s'pore. ok, it wasn't so hidden but it was pretty inaccessible. had to walk from the mrt station for abt 1o min.
anyway, it was really wonderful. the games were great and so fun to play! ok, so i played in only one game, and that game really had a couple of casualties. it was the dunk-the-box-on-the-man game and we just targeted the varsities to bring down their scores.
at the end of the day, my cluster didn't win overall champion but it was really the fellowship that counted. thank You Lord for my cg and for all my church friends. thank You Lord for all the friendships forged and upkept by
You.
thank You Daddy for today's games!
happy birthday msh! of all people, i met alv*n there. hahahaha. we caught up on old times, talked about our coursemates and practically everything under the sun. it was great catching up with him. oh yes, her entire civic class was there too! caught sight of them and the usual hi-bye stuff.
going 3rd tomorrow! i can't wait to see more of Jesus in the Word!

my inner man just wasn't that peaceful yesterday. an entire chain of stories, events and activities led to the major disruption. i hadn't felt that for a long, long time.
and i had a greater revelation of the power of praying in the Spirit.
i had a really severe stomachache last night for no apparent reason, starting from around 10. i started praying in the Spirit and thought of this:
against hope, choose to believe in hope. in addition to that, i remembered what pastor once preached - sleep (rest) is a form of trust in the Lord, that He is able to give to me in my sleep. and sleep i did, and it was really sound and wonderful. thank God!

after at least 5 mths of living with an internet connection that erratically goes on and off, i finally called my cable service provider. i email-ed them about the problem a couple of months back and after the first reply from them, my subsequent ones must have somehow vanished from their inbox - there was no reply.
until today.
in e past week, trying to maple was pretty much a chore - somehow my internet connection would screw up, slow down or simply not work. i'd have to wait until the cable modem lights signalled the return of connectivity before going online again. the time taken for connectivity to return is greatly varied - from under a minute to an hour. surfing the internet was a big problem too. i'd wait forever for the page(s) to load and to kill boredom, i even started playing solitaire! bleah.
as of now, my internet is working! well, truly, where the word of a king is, there is
power. and where the word of a priest goes, every controversy (such as a malfunctioning internet connection) shall be resolved! yes, His beloved prayed over the modem.
it is well.Amen.

i've been mapling. hahahaha...
there was the brigade anniversary yesterday. and yes, the only photos i took were those of ants. -_- doesn't that make the event sound oh-so-interesting? hmmm. well anyway, some people weren't exactly interested enough to come. i don't know how long the event was. heh. go figure.
thank You Lord for the Holy Spirit that teaches me in
all things. yes, teach me to navigate around and eventually find my way to the city campus. hahahaha... first time driving down to my school and the road directory wasn't exactly very helpful. afterall, it was the 2002 edition! so, naturally, the campus wasn't reflected. thank You Lord that the Holy Spirit directs my path! and it is
straight. the second time down, i just felt this peace to go by the same way i go to church - and there i was! easy easy light light. now that's the way of the Spirit!
it's great to be back with my loved ones.
it's great to be back in church and cg.
i missed all your royal priests and priestesses.
psalm 91 follows my brother the firefighter to the land of the best football league in the world!

behold, I COME.finally, 30 days have come and gone in the land of smiles. it's such a joy to return home. the chartered flight played us out a little by landing at the designated airstrip an hour later then scheduled. needless to say, God had it all planned out.my sis experienced some steering problem in the flight she was taking from the world's 2nd most populous country back home. as a result, the aircraft flew to another city and the passengers were transferred along with the crew to another home-bound aeroplane.at the end of the day, i arrived at 0507 hrs and my sis landed at 0638 hrs. instead of the anticipated 3-hr wait my dad was looking at, thank God! all things work together for my good! he only came at abt 0500 hrs and we waited at a cafe for sis' flight. over coffee and tea, we talked about management styles and invariably, work issues cropped up. it was some blessed talk!thank You Daddy that everything is in Your hands and in Your control. nothing comes to me without going thru You first. it's amazing how You work in ways that confound man yet the victory is always there. truly, like what coach nd shared today - sometimes when i let go, the situation seems to get worse. continue to let go and let God and eventually, the deliverance and the sweet, sweet victory always come. however, if i attempt to take control over the situation again, it becomes my self effort. in fact, i'm telling God that i don't need Him to be in control. i can do it all by myself. God never recognises self effort! as a result, God lets go of the situation. the final destination? death in that particular situation.thank You Lord for giving me the strength to go down for cg. it was really amazing. i enjoyed the fellowship.oh, there was vict*rians' day today! bought 2 different bears wearing the same shirt - the college PE shirt! kinda cute. and kan* h*o if you're reading this, remember! YOU DUA ME. you didn't turn up! i'm holding on to the bear you asked for...going for first service!!! really can't wait!!!
